This national wireless coverage map shows the locations you may use you a digital GSM wireless cellular phone within the USA. You must have a 1900 MHZ GSM phone (850 MHZ is recommended for roaming) and a sim card with a service provider that has roaming agreements with USA GSM carriers. Because an area is shaded does not necessarily mean that there is complete cellular coverage; in fact, there are "no coverage" areas (including areas too small to depict) within the shaded areas.
